THRILL-seekers can now buy a season ticket for Alton Towers for the same price as a day ticket.
The theme park is selling a new season ticket for £55 which is the same price that it costs for a day pass paid for on the gate.
Alton Towers, which is in Staffordshire, has also announced a new ride, the Wicker Man rollercoaster for spring 2018.
The theme park famously is home to the Thi3teen ride as well as the Smiler ride which crashed in 2016 leaving two teens needing their leg amputated.
The £55 season ticket will get you into the attraction as many times as you like throughout the year – but there are a few catches.
The pass will work from the date you buy it until November 24, except on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in August.
You won’t be able to use the tickets on September 1 and 2 either, and you can’t use them for the October Scarefest or the two fireworks displays in November.
You can save £20 on a day pass if you order online at least five days in advance, which will cost £33 for an adult and £27.50 for a child.
But if you buy it from the kiosk at the day it will cost you £55 for an adult.
So, if you’re planning on visiting the theme park more than once throughout the year then this pass could really save you money, even if you only use it twice.
To buy two advance, online day passes it will cost you £66, where as you can get in twice for £11 less with the season pass.
Alton Towers Resort, who is part of Merlin attractions which also owns Legoland and Thorpe Park, has a sale on annual passes too.
The £109 standard annual pass will get you into their 32 attractions all year round, and is down from £139.
The new Wicker Man rollercoaster is the first wooden one to be built in 21 years and will thrill riders with parts of the track appearing to be set on fire.
